I have classified a cell as a percent with 2 decimal places. Every time I enter a number such as 8.25 it changes it to 825.00%. The percent is fine but, how do you get it say 8.25%.

Hi, you have to key the decimal point in, even though you have designated it as 2 decimal places.

Hi,
The value you need to enter is ..... .0825 (= 8.25%) Skip,

...
you could also go to Tools/Options/Edit and select Enable automatic percent entry.
I think that this will do what you want. :) Skip,

Thanks SkipVought. The second solution performs what I need to do.
