I have an Excel file where I have selected Insert->Object and selected PC5250. I then get a green screen legacy Iseries display session in the excel file.

I would like to write a maco that takes a fields from excel and pastes it into the PC5250 session.

The problem is that to navigate to the PC5250 session and make it active, I have to double click it. My recorded macro doesn't seem to do this. I have record a macro where I select an Excel column, double click the PC5250 session and paste to the PC5250 session. The pase and any keystrokes I enter in the PC5250 session within the macro are not executed.

Is there a way I can copy and paste data from Excel into a PC5250 embedded session?

Dazed and confused.

Please post this in forum707, where macros and VBA are better addressed.
