I want to paste two columns of data into only the visible cells of columns in another 'autofiltered' table. When I paste it in the data fills the hidden cells too which is no good for what I intend.

Is this always the way it is? I feel confident I have been able to just paste into autofiltered cells before with no difficulties. Am I dillusional?!

Thanks for any help!

Hi,

Can't do that.

Try using a formula, referencing the same ROW as the first filtered row.

So if your 2 columns were on sheet1!B:C and your first visible filtered row were 5, then
[tt]
=sheet1b5
[/tt]
copy over one and down.
