I've got an Excel file that is about 2,800 kb. It contains about 8 worksheets and a fair amount of formulas.

Lately, whenever I attempt to open the file, I get the message "Not enough resources to display completely".

What is causing this error?
How can I address this?
What impact does this have on my file?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

it could be a multitude of things:

- ur video driver is acting up. pro'ly need to update the driver

- u got too many apps running at the same time

- u have wallpapers, themes, and screensavers that r taking up too much room

the thing is, when I check my available memory and disk space, there is a ton of both available. Could it be something in the Excel application?

the only other times this would happen is when u have controls on a zoomed sheet (MS article q183503)
and if u have symbol bitmaps in xl chart (q247578)
