Hi and thanks in advance for any help!

I have Col. 1 in Excel with dates, i.e.,
11/25/2011
2/29/2012
4/16/2012
2/9/2012
8/7/2011
9/14/2011
9/23/2011
12/17/2011
4/22/2012
10/1/2011
10/4/2011
10/24/2011
12/3/2011
1/25/2013
9/24/2011
12/28/2011
4/21/2012

I want to create 3 columns: Col. 2: shows the very next date from today, Col. 3: shows the next date after Col. 2, and Col: 4 shows the next date after Col. 3.

So, in other words from this example, Col. 2 should show 8/7/2011, Col. 3 should show 9/14/2011, Col. 3 should show 9/23/2011

Any ideas?? Thanks!!

Hi,

I sorted your column of dates and your 3 are the first 3.

So use the LARGE function and the COUNT function
[tt]
=LARGE(A:A,COUNT(A:A))
[/tt]
and then count-1 and count-2

for a NUANCE![tongue]

or use the SMALL function, which makes more sense.

Hi Skip,

The SMALL function did exactly what I needed. Thanks!!

Best,
