Excel MS Query question 1

Hello, I have an Excel sheet using the MS Query tool (QBE grid) for pulling data from a SQL Server db into the sheet, works great. My question is, do the intended users ALSO need to have MS Query or can this sheet be distributed as a normal Excel sheet.

Hi,

If users are going to execute the query...

they must have access to the database/resource

they must have an appropriate driver configured

they must have included MS Query in the installation of Excel

They must have included MS Query in the installation of Excel only if they want to use the QBE grid.
