I have sheet with lots of stocks buy and sell info. example

apple buy 100 $150
apple sell 100 $150
blackberry buy 120 $12
Microsoft buy 200 $25
apple buy 100 $150
blackberry sell 120 $12
Microsoft sell 200 $25

I want to separate and copy all the above data based on buy and sell. so all the buy will be in one sheet and all the sell will be another sheet.

how can i do that.

Hi,

Hmmm. You have no column headings???

Sort the table by the buy/sell column.

Copy the entire list and paste it in the other sheet.

Delete the appropriate rows from each table.

.......

But WHY chop up your data???

Those are my 2 questions to you.

Skip,
