hi, when i use word, and i print like 20 copies of the SAME document, word spooled 1 job of 20 pages to my printer, my printer just print everything in one go.
but when i do the same in excel, SAME document, 20 copies. excel spooled 20 jobs of ONE page to my printer, so my printer just pause in between every other job.
this causes:
1) my printer to spin up, print, spin down, repeat x20, the spin up and spin down time are same as the printing time
2) it almost doubled my total printing time
3) i am guessing it is not good for the printer's motor?
and ideas or direction for me to deal with this problem? thanks
PS: i am using a canon laser b/w printer, connected by USB. winxp, office 2003.
