I have created a vba macro in Excel. My question is

1) Can I run this from a command line and what is the syntax
2) How can I save the macro as an exe type file. The only option for saving seems to be as a class file :-(

Thanks

Ronald

To the best of my knowledge, this ain't possible. You can only run the macro in conjunction with the application eg Excel.

You can, however, put the code in the workbook OPEN event and then schedule excel to open that file using any kind of scheduling software Rgds

Geoff I used your suggestion and it worked fine.

Hey RonaldMacDonald,
You're asking a lot of questions here, and getting a lot of helpful answers. The way to say "thanks" around here is to award a star for a helpful post. Geoff might appreciate one :)
