Do tables (introduced in 2007) supercede lists?

Structured Tables in 2007+ is a vast improvement over the former List feature.

BTW, Excel Help has some GREAT stuff regarding these new features. I have been using them extinsively, many times not even bothering to use Named Ranges.

Unfortunately, the Structured Table References cannot be used in Validation Lists & Chart Range References among several others.
