Hello,

One of the employees here has recently taken over maintaining a spreadsheet that has a bit of an odd problem. There are three rows that have missing row labels. The numbers go like this:

24
25
(blank)
(blank)
(blank)
29

Also, none of the data in those three rows is visible. It shows up in the entry bar at the top when you click into the cells, but it isn't visible in the cells themselves.

I've never seen this problem before, and have had zero luck coming across anything that seems to relate directly to this.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, forgot to mention, we are using Office 2010 Professional.

Thanks!

hi,

Have you checked the FONT COLOR?

Or the CELL COLOR could be the same as the FONT COLOR.

BTW, stuff like this can happen when users COPY 'n' PASTE. Not only VALUES are pasted, but also other DATA, like cell/font shading, borders, cell alignment etc, etc., ALL of which are DATA.

Hello, yes I did indeed check the font color, formatting, so on and so forth. Thanks for the suggestion though. Any other ideas?

so what happens of you copy ALL the data on the sheet and on a new sheet, you were to Edit > Paste Special -- VALUES

I have no idea, as I just went to check it out and the guy had just deleted the rows entirely and remade them (even though I specifically asked him not to). So I really don't have anywhere to go from here regarding this. I appreciate your efforts though, and apologize for wasting your time.
