I have a couple of clients having issue opening Excel spreadsheets on Public folders. It takes them about ~60secs to open and close the spreadsheet. The size is about 1MB to 9MB per spreadsheet. They informed that they never had this problem before and the file size has not changed.

The clients are using XP with SP2, Office Standard Edition 2003, and we are running on Windows Server 2003.

I tried enabling and disabling cache mode but both gave me the same result. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

When you open files directly from Mail Folders they're temp files are created and often never deleted. I suspect runing a DISK CLEANUP would help, at least a little
