I want to post this fix for others who may be having the same problem.

I have been using Excel 2000 to make invoices for years. Office 2000 has an invoice template that included an invoice toolbar. This allowed you to capture data in the invoice and have it automatically added to a database spreadsheet.

When I installed Office 2003, the invoice toolbar was no longer there and when I saved new invoices I had lost the prompt to capture the data in my database spreadsheet file.

Solution: The Excel 2003 install erases the Template Wizard and Data Tracking add-in file called WZTEMPLT.XLA. The fix is to copy the file from the Office 2000 install disk \PFILES\MSOFFICE\OFFICE\LIBRARY\WZTEMPLT.XLA to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns\WZTEMPLT.XLA Now, open Excel 2003, click on Tools > Add-ins and then click on Browse ... choose WZTEMPLT.XLA file and click OK. That will add the Template Wizard and Data Tracking as an add-in choice which you then install by putting a check in the box next to that named add-in. This will restore your Invoice Toolbar and database collection functions.

Looks like you need to add this add-in file also:
TMPLTNUM.XLA (get it from same place as above)

This will create another add-in called Template Utilities.
