Hi

I've got a delimited text file that I want to import, however I want specific columns ie, cols 1,7,8,9.
I've imported the data to a workbook, now I want to strip out the columns in question and copy them to my final sheet.
I've set up a mapping column on a datasheet , so in future if the columns change it's configurable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Either use MS Query to return ONLY the columns you want (assuming your text file has a row of headings, or import into Excel and THEN use MS Query to return what you need to another sheet. Virtually no VBA required!
