Hello,

I wonder whether you can help me.

Column A has the date the entry was made on the spreadheet.

Column C of the spreadsheet is titled "Status" and there are 3 possible entries

L - Low
M - Medium
H - High

I would like column D to be a calculated field that looks at both column A and C to come up with the resolution date. for example

If the status is 'High' I would like the calculated date to be Column A + 3 days. If the status is 'Medium' then the calculated field should be Column A + 5 days. If it is low then it should be column A + 7 days.

The extra complication is that in calculating the new date, it should ignore weekends. For example. If a high status is logged on Friday, the resolution date should be the following Wednesday.

Regards,

hi,

It's not complicated at all.

Check out the WORKDAY() date function.
