I am trying to hyperlink from Excel to open a Visio drawing with subaddress. The problem is the forward slash of the subaddress keeps changing to a backslash.
This is what I want:
\\fileserver1\citpublic\Enterprise Infrastructure Services\HO\Voice network\CS1000 Voice network.vsd#HO/Sheet.1121?zoom=100.
While Excel is open and I create the hyperlink, it works. It also works after saving. However if I close and open the spreadsheet, that's when the hyperlink is automagically changed to:
\\fileserver1\citpublic\Enterprise Infrastructure Services\HO\Voice network\CS1000 Voice network.vsd#HO\Sheet.1121?zoom=100.
I tried changing the hyperlink base to c:\ as suggested in Excel tips.
Is there any other way? Perhaps I can use %2F to harcode the forward slash, but I don't know how properly format the string.
I appreciate your help.
