Hi,
I have an Excel userform that has option buttons completely overlayed with labels (e.g. make them visible if something else is clicked).
My problem is now that I've got a label on top of it how do I select the option button?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Roy

hi,

redesign your userform.

Skip,

for a NUANCE![tongue]

Skip has a point.

However, there are a couple of ways of doing what you want.

The first is rather manual - if you are showing the control properties in the IDE, then there is a combo at the top which contains all the controls, so you can pick from there.

The other alternative is to rubberband pick the label and the option box, then CTRL-click the label, which will deselect it, leaving only the option box selected.

You may also use Tab key on your keyboard. Keep hitting Tab and you will (select) jump from control to the next control on your Form. You will see which control you are on in (mentioned above) Properties window in the IDE

Have fun.

Thanks Andy,
Your a star. That was just what I was looking for.
Cheers,

You are welcome. :)

When I have the situation like you described, in the design view on the Form I place controls (option buttons, labels, etc.) so I can easily access them (click and select any of them) . And in my code I have a [tt]Sub PositionControls[/tt] where in code I, well…, position my controls where I need them when running my application.

Have fun.
