I have a sheet with totals per month, and I need the sum of the last three for use in another trending formula. What formula can I use so I don't have to manually update the formula each month?

Jan 15
Feb 5
Mar 6
April 9
May
June
July

3-Month Total:
In April, this would be Jan+Feb+Mar = 26
In May, this would be Feb+Mar+April = 20

Hi,

Use the OFFSET function.
[tt]
=SUM(OFFSET(B1,COUNT(B:B)-3,0,3,1))
[/tt]

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]
