Hello,

I have data as follows:

Column A Column B

Row 1 YTD Spend Annualised Spend
Row 2 2,000,000 3,000,000

I have put this into a basic column graph. It has the $ values on the left axis and the titles at the bottom axis with two columns.

If the client had a target spend of 2,800,000.... is there a way I could have a horizintal line going accross the graph at the 2,800,000 level? Can I link this to a cell with a target spend value?

To date I have been drawing these horizontal lines in manually.

Thanks Very Much

Elfa

Hi,

here's how you can do it with an x-y scatter chart

Date:[tt]
x y y1
0 2000000 2800000
1 2000000 2800000
1 3000000 2800000
2 3000000 2800000
2 0 2800000
[/tt]
first plot x & y

then copy column C, select the chart, Edit/Paste Special = paste values in columns.

format each series to suite.
