Hello

I've got a number of buttons sitting in the top row of my spreadsheet which run various commands and short routines.

Normally the spreadsheet is using freeze panes at cell A3 allowing the user to scroll through the data. This means though that the top row of buttons will "disappear" depending where in the spreadsheet the user is.

Is it at all possible to completely fix Row 1 so that is doesn't move, but allowing the freeze panes option so that the user can continue to do as they can scrolling through the data?

thank you

Place your command buttons in a menu bar?

Hi

There are other people who use this spreadsheet apart from me - so have a dedicated toolbar for thejob isn't going to work.

thanks anyway

Ssome solutions to consider:
- modeless userform instead of toolbar,
- dynamically create a toolbar and delete it when the user closes workbook,
- permanently freeze panes and limit sheet's width by hiding most of unused rows,
- freeze panes in B3, put a button in A1:A3 area that displays modeless userform,
- use worksheet events instead of buttons (replace right-click popup menu by custom one, displayed with BeforeRightClick event).
