I am working on a spreadsheet that was originally created by a person who utilized specific column height and row width formatting. When updating the sheet, my excel saves with a different column width. (Original = 2.71 , mine = 2.67) Now, I could give a flip, but the originator would like it to retain the original formatting. I am working with office 2003. I even thought ok, the document may be corrupt from all of the changes. So, I tried to create a new one. Same thing. I un-installed office and re-installed with all updated patches. Same thing. The girl sitting right next to me can save it retaining the original settings. What in the world could my problem be???

Thanks!!
Abbey

hi,

record a macro to set your row heights and column widths.

Run the macro before save or print.
