I have a formula along the lines of
="Report date range: from " & C5 & " to " & C6
The problem is that I need the first part "Report date range" to be bold - and the remaining characters to be normal.
Any thoughts on how I can do this??

I tried this, even stuffing control codes within the formula, but to no avail. A text cell can have different formats, but apparently not a formula.

Suggest you use "REPORT DATE RANGE:" to get a similar effect.

Best I can do.

Thanks - I was afraid of that... this used to be very easy back in Lotus v2.1!!
