In cell "A1" I have a date "7/13/2006"
In cell "B1" I have a time "1:45 PM"

How do I combine both columns into one column with a "space" between the date and time?

Thanks

If they are entered as date and a time rather than text, you can simply add them together in C1, say, and select the appropriate format under "Date" within "Format cells" in the "Format" menu.

Think of the time as a fraction of a day, and days are just numbers in excel.

Dirk

Thanks you, I over looked that.
I have another question that I'll post.
