Good Morning.
I have an Excel sheet with all columns formatted (text or number or date...). It was working fine until a user did something to it and now one of my column which is shown with format: number 2 decimal places but when I enter 1.00 it will automatically default to 1 but if it's 1.05 it will stay 1.05. I try to delete the whole column and re-inseted but it still does the same thing. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance for your helps.

Hi Mimitan,
Try entering 1 in an unused cell, format that as 'Number, 2 Dec Places', then Copy that cell, select the column that's causing you grief, Paste Special and Multiply.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Bob.

mimitan,

You realize that if someone COPIES into your fomatted column, it changes the FORMAT of that cell to the format of the cell that was copied.
