Hi all,
I'm trying to create a spreadsheet that has some cells editable, and some not. That all works fine. But when I protect my sheet, the Filter I have set on the column that I want to be able to filter on doesn't work. Clicking the filter funnel just says "Result: (Showing All)", and doesn't give me any options for picking filter conditions. I have all the cells in that column security setting checkbox off for both Lock and Hide. The two columns to the right however, are locked, and I don't want users to change their contents, or see the formula in one of the columns. Is there a way I can do this and still keep my filter capability on the sheet?
Many thanks,

Best Regards,
Scott

When activating worksheet protection select:

Use AutoFilter

in the Sheet Protection dialog box
