Hi,

I have a 3 columns with a series of rows. The first Column contains a persons name, which may repeat several times.

What I want to do is have something like the autofilter, but just for the name cell, then when a name is selected all the rows for that person are filtered and displayed.

I am not sure how to achieve this,

Thanks for you help.

You could move these three lines to somewhere out of sight,
Then have a drop down combo with the names column as row source.
In the Change() event of that combo, you can then reference the other fields and assign their value to the fields next to the combo.

Would that do it?

Cheers,

You can put the filter on one column only
Just select the whole of the column and go data>filter>autofilter. As the entire row is hidden when filtered, it doesn't matter that you only have the filter on one column
