I am trying to send a Excel file to the AS400. Could someone please give a helpful solution.

Or save it as a CSV file and FTP the CSV file to the 400, then copy it to the database file using the CPYFRMIMPF command.

Ibm have made it even easier. All you have to have is to have Client Access data transfer excel add-in installed in your excel and it will do everything. Create new file to As/400 based on your excel sheet. Add, replace to existing as/400 file/table. It's allmost 'too easy' compared to the old days when you have to be allmost a wizard if you wanted to transfer something to AS/400 from PC-apps.
