Question:

I have an excel spreadsheet that I type text in to many cells, when I print the sheet it puts extra lines after the text in the cell, and I don't want these how might I get rid of them. It looks like it adds two extra spaces after the text for each cell.

At some point you have possible used all the lines, and Excel won't just assume you are done with them. To find the true bottom of the worksheet, hold the Control key, and tap the END key. Then you can decide to delete all the blank lines if you wish, or you could just select the area you want to print and click File > Print Area > Set Print Area to keep Excel from printing the empty lines.

The empty lines are inside the cell itself but only show up when I print not at the end of the document.

Oh, sorry. Try selecting all (Ctrl-A,) then select Format > Row > Autofit, to see if it adjusts the height of the rows.
