I know it was possible in old versions of excel, but in Excel 2000 I cannot find a way on exporting a delimited file, with my choice of deliminator, anyone know of a way off hand?
(hopefully I'm just going blind ;) )

Thanks

I didn't see anything on the menu off hand either.

The hard way would be using VBA. Conceptually:

Open a file for write
For each Cell in worksheet range
newVar = cells a1 & "'" & a2 & "'" etc...
write newVar to file
Next cell

Hi!

You could import the worksheet into Access. There you would have all of the options you need to export to a delimited file.

Cheers anyway, improvised, imported into a single column, processed the text and copied & pasted it back out. Not exactly neat, but it's not me that'll be using it :D
