I have a spreadsheet that keeps crashing with the following error message:
The instuction at "0x303c1db6" referenced memory at "0x0000000f". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program

I am using drop down lists and lookup tables in the spreadsheet, but there are no links to external files.

Can anyone help?

Whichever option I choose excel crashes and kicks me out.

I have tried the following:
1) Recreating the spreadsheet from scratch so the file is not corrupt to start with.
2) Working on the spreadsheet on different PC's

If it does the same on other machines then it islikely to be specific to the workbook, and if you have recreated from scratch have you noticed it happen after any specific thing you have put into the workbook.

On the assumption that it could be a corrupt workbook, have you tried opening it using the 'open and repair' option in Excel 2002 if you can get access to a copy. Failing that, the superb free Office Suite OpenOffice, from will ususally open corrupt files and fix them (50MB download)

Regards
Ken..............
