I have this problem and I can't open my file because of it. Anytime I try to open it, I get the error. How can I open the file again.

What version excel? 2002/3 have Open and Repair options that may help - Do you have access to those such that you can try.

http://www.openoffice.org

(70MB download) is also very good at opening corrupt Excel files.
