I have an Excel spreadsheet with over 9,000 records. Many are duplicates that need to be removed. The spreadsheet has a Name column and a column called Comp Level, where some entries for this column are of a red font. I need to remove all duplicates where a Name has a red Comp Level entry. How can I tell Excel to do this?

For example, in my attachment, ABBOTT,MICHAEL ABERCROMBIE,LUCY and ABRAHAU,ROBERT H would have to be removed (because of the red Comp Level entry. But ABLES,LACY D would not be removed.

Hi,

If you have Excel versions 2007+, you can apply a FILTER, and filter on a color.

You can try advanced filter, copy records to new location with "unique records" option on.
