Hello

I'm doing a spreadsheet of people's payments on a loan.

Across Row 2 are the pay dates, L2 - 25/08/2017, M2 - 25/09/2017 and so on.

Column F is the instalment and Column G is the loan amount.

What I want to do in cell L3 is say, if today is 25/08/2017 (or after that) then G3-F3 otherwise leave it blank.

I've seen an example, but it looks at a range of dates and a range of figures to sum, and their example works, but tweaking it for this isn't working for me.

many thanks

thank you for helping

Hi,

L3 is say, if today is 25/08/2017 (or after that) then G3-F3 otherwise leave it blank
[tt]
L3: =IF(TODAY()=L$2,G3,"")
[/tt]

Copy this formula and Paste across and then down.

I'm picturing in my mind how your sheet is structured. I may be wrong.

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my OLD subtlety...
for a NUance![tongue]

Just a minor tweak so it's "greater than or equal to" and the G3-F3 and that's worked.

Thank you. I seem to have got myself confused with the example and making it overly complicated.

thank you for helping
