Hi all
I am doing some performance testing comparisons on a satellite option v LAN connection for work and need to display the results in a chart. The times are in seconds. I just can’t seem to display them as the part seconds in the chart.
eg.
1 sec = .01.00
2.3 seconds = .02.30

I have listed some of my results below.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Tee.

Test 1
Task 1 - 12.34
Task 2 - 12.34
Task 3 - 07.09

Test 2
Task 1 - 23.82
Task 2 - 11.28
Task 3 - 04.78

Not sure that I understand the issue but maybe this will help:
You can add data labels that show the value.
Once datalabels exist you can select and alter the format of the number (e.g. 2 decimal places) and position etc.

You can select the Y axis, Format Axis and determine the scale that is shown, the grid lines and the tick marks.

Difficult to go further without knowing how you want the chart to look. With your sample data I assembled a table like this, highlighted it then chose Insert,Chart.

[tt]Task Test1 Test 2
Task 1 12.34 23.82
Task 2 12.34 11.28
Task 3 7.09 4.78
[/tt]

Hope this gets you started.

Gavin

Hi Sorry for the delay in acknowledging your reply. Many thanks I was able to figure it out - formatted the cell to just general instead of numbers or time and it has worked. Had to remore the . as well.

Cheers Tee
