I have an Excel file with multiple tabs. Each tab has a data query that access data from a SQL db. When I refresh, I have to enter the SQL password multiple times - one for each tab.

Any ideas for a work-around? This file has 14 tabs, and the user is tired of typing the password 14 times.

I can understand why it is like this - each data query could be separate data, and access rights could be different depending on the data. So I am afraid this won't be possible.

Thanks in advance.

Could you prompt the user for the password once, and save it to a "global" variable, declared in a workbook code module?
Each worksheet would then have access to the password.
