Crystal Reports Version 2008. Saving a new On Demand report in BO CMC with a format of "Microsoft Excel (97-2003)(Data Only)". However, it is not saving the format. When looking in CMC at the Folders, the type is still showing Crystal Report. After running the report and opening in InfoView, also opens in Crystal Report format. Is there some type of server setting that we may be missing or is there an additional step in Crystal 2008 that we are not doing? Thanks!

If this is an on demand report, how are you saving it as Excel? The format settings in the properties of the report only apply to scheduled reports. If you're running on demand, it will always run in Crystal. If you need the data as Excel, the user will have to export to that format after opening the report. Without scheduling, the report will not be saved to Excel in InfoView or the CMC.
