Hello folks,

Here's a curly one for you.
Several of our users experience a fault when dragging cells in Excel97.
Basically, when they drag cells Excel crashes and we have to terminate the application through the NT Task Manager. Have (as yet) been unable to find anything on the Microsoft website or Technet.

Anyhelp would be appreciated
What is the configuration of the PC's? Also, are they running Excel off the server or desktop? It sounds like either a memory leak or corruption issue. The first thing I would do is a defrag on the PC's (probably not what's wrong, but hey, it's easy and won't hurt). I would guess they are running off the server, which could easily mean a corrupted file. After hours, try uninstalling and reinstalling Office and see if this fixes it.
