[Excel] - Count

1 car red
2 bus red
3 car green
4 car red

I would like to count the number of red cars in the grid.

Could someone help with a formula? (i have used the above as an example however the really one is likley to have hundreds of rows)

[tab][COLOR=blue white]=SumProduct((A1:A4="car") * (B1:B4="red"))[/color]

(I know, sumproduct doesn't sound like it will do what you want.... but just try it)

[tab][red]The plural of anecdote is not data[/red]
