Has anyone had the following problem or know the solution.

Everything has been working fine up till today.

I can no longer copy and paste from one workbook to another.

If I select cells in one workbook the paste icon is available, but as soon as I move to another workbook and select the destination cell the icon is no longer available.

The destination sheet is not read only and the worksheet isn't locked.

Anyone got any ideas, I'm pulling my hair out here.

Thanks

OK works fine in Sefe mode.

Can't track down and code in the workbook that stops this from working.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Do you have TWO instances of Excel?

If you cannot see the other workbook listed when you hit the Window menu item, then you have another instance of Excel opened.

Close the other workbook and either open by clicking that workbook's file icon or open from the current Excel;s File menu.

Cheers Skip,

Have just solved the issue.

There was some code in workbook_activate that was causing the problem. This code only need to run once so have moved it to workbook_open and all is fine.

It was only enabling command buttons dependant on certain values, so not sure why the issue arose but all is good now.
