Excel convert state abbreviations 2

I had entered a column of states as the 2 letter abbreviated text. Is there a way to change that abbreviated text to actually spell out each state correctly?

You would go to

http://www.usps.com/ncsc/lookups/usps_abbreviations.html

copy and paste contents into the spreadsheet then use lookup functions or match and index etc. Excel does not store state names itself anywhere.

You could either make a mass change using Edit/Replace or use the Vlookup function in a seaprate column ( you'll have to create a Table with the abbreviation as the lookup value and the state name in the second column)
