I am trying to write a two part conditional format for a column. The first one was easy - I simply wanted to change the color if the number in the cell was 0. However, I want a second condition - I want a different color if the number in one cell is = to the number in the cell next to it. I've tried cell "equal to" and a formula. Neither works. How can I do this?

Condition 1.
Cell Value is - Equal to - 0

Condition 2.
Cell Value is - Equal to - =B1

Excel is clever so when you extend the formatting in Column A it will change =B1 to =B2

I feel so silly! I was using an absolute cell reference instead of a relative one. Thanks! :~/

Thanks techlady for asking this question. I had the same problem some time ago, and skipped it since I did exactly the same thing you did. But I wasn't up to asking somebody how!
