Excel command reference for VBA?

Where might I find a reference that lists Excel commands that can be issued in VBA (specifically in Access 97 modules)? I frequently play "trial and error" on these commands, and would like a more organized and less time-consuming approach. Thanks!

I use the Record Macro facility then EDIT the macro to see what code was generated. Let EXCEL tell you what VBA code is needed.

There's a great reference book published by Wrox.

Excel 2000 VBA Programmers Reference (reprinted 11/2000)

Although it says 2000, 99.9% of the content is applicable to Office 97 as well. $25.00 and well worth it. No BS, no Hello Worlds, etc. just some primers and mostly Object Model reference, including the VBE Object Model.
