Excel Column Widths

1. Are you saving the file as an Excel 97 worksheet?
2. What data is in the columns?
3. Do you have any files in your XLSTART directory?
4. Do you have a location named under Tools-Options-General tab, Alternate Startup folder, and is there any files in that folder?
5. Do you have macro virus protection turned on (turn it on if you don't) and does this file contain any macros?
