Hi,

A user in the office has shown me the following strange behaviour when he goes to change the width of a column in Excel.

If they select a column by clicking on the header e.g. B and change the column width, all the columns change to that size.

However...

If they select the first cell or any cell in that column then only the width of that choosen column changes.

Has anyone ever encountered this before, and if so what causes it.

I've tried to duplicate it on my PC, but can't!

Regards,

Andrew

Not sure 'bout this but if the user is selecting a column by col header, is there any chance that they are selecting multiple columns. If you do this and change the width of one, all the others change to the same width Rgds

I watched them do it, and it was just one column.
