Hi all!

I've got a situation where I have an Access97 macro that should run nightly to produce reports in Excel. It runs the query (against two separate ODBC databases), saves the output in Excel format and kickstarts an Excel macro sheet. The macro save the datasheet under another name, creates subtotals, formats headers & footers, and creates a variable number of charts (never more than five or six), then saves again and quits. If I run this macro more than twice I have to reboot - I can literally see how the available memory drops as I run the macro. Now - is there a way to 1) reduce the memory consumed (I recalculate the sheet manually in the macro) or 2) to empty the clipboard programmatically?
