Hi Guys / Gals

i have to make some charts up, but the data ranges go from milliseconds up to minutes and some hours. i thought about converting the times into seconds/milliseconds, but then the scales are huge!!!
does anyone know of an easier way to do this
a sample of the data is
Time 1 Time 2 Time 3 Average Time
File 1 0.0.38 0.0.16 0.0.15 0.0.23
File 2 0.0.17 0.0.19 0.0.18 0.0.18
File 3 0.0.60 0.0.63 0.0.54 0.0.59
File 4 0.5.21 0.4.19 0.4.13 0.4.51
File 5 0.44.99 0.44.39 0.43.26 0.44.21
File 6 7.24.99 7.21.46 7.25.51 7.23.98

minutes/seconds/milliseconds

Any ideas would be much appreciated!!
Cheers
Jon

Jon,

Here's a formula to calculate MINUTES
[tt]
=LEFT(B2,FIND(".",B2)-1)+RIGHT(B2,LEN(B2)-FIND(".",B2))/60
[/tt]
if B2 is 0.0.38 then 0.006333333 is minutes

:)
