Hi,

I am working with Excel 2007.
If I apply a Chart layout with following VBA, e.g.

ActiveChart.ApplyLayout (9)

how can I test, which layout has been applied?

e.g. following VBA

If ActiveChart.ApplyLayout = 9 Then.... End If

does not work.

In addition: how can I rename a chart?

Thanks for any tip, georges

Hi,

Activechart.name = "yourname"

Check out the Chart Object properties. Use the Object browser. Look for ApplyLayout. I expect that it is a METHOD, applying a value to , uh, er, um.... a LAYOUT? Just guessing, but YOU can find out what it is applying the value to by doing some research, the same research I would do if I had a copy of 2007 on my machine.

Skip,
