Hi
I am trying to build a very simple Excel chart, with two data series. I want it to be a simple column chart, but with the series plotted on separate axis.

What's happening is:
I build the chart as a column graph. I right click Series2 -> Format Data Series -> Axis (tab), and select "Secondary Axis" -> OK.

The chart then converts from a normal column graph (with columsn side by side), to what looks like a stacked column graph, but is in fact the columns overlaid on top of each other.

I've tried various ways of getting around this, but am not having any luck.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks in advance

Earth,

If you format any series, activate the Options Tab, play around with the Overlap and Gap Width properties
