Hi,

I was wondering if there was anyway of adding a suffix to the content of a cell as you type?

Basically, its an invoice and what i would like is that when i type the invoice number in the specified cell, it always has the suffix "-iBPD", but I also want, if possible for the suffix to be dynamic if thats the correct word, so it always appears even as i type. I can get the suffix there with simple VBA but it always seems to appear after i've clicked another cell or even only when i click back on the invoice number cell..

Any ideas?

Cheers,

What VBA do you currently have? Are you using the Worksheet_Change event?

Hi,

If this is just a DISPLAY issue, format that column CUSTOM
[tt]
#"-iBPD"
[/tt]
No code required.

i have a column of words that need to be in the format
info_[word].html so prefix and suffix! but the # key only works for numbers.

is it possible to do the same, but with text instead?
