My co-worker is trying to do a VLookup between two spreadsheets. When she does step 2 of the formula, table array, she clicks over to the other worksheet to try to select the range of cells. However - nothing happens! She doesn't get the blinking "Selected" indicator.

I emailed myself the same two spreadsheets, and I'm able to do this with no issues. So it has to be some setting on her Excel. Any ideas?

If this doesn't make sense, I will try to upload a screenshot of what I'm trying to explain. Thanks in advance!

Sounds to me like your co worker has two instances of Excel open while you have two Excel files open in one instance.

Hmm, interesting. I do know for a fact that she did have two instances open. I will go over to her computer later today and try your suggestion! I'll let you know what happens. Thanks!

Kristal - You are a genius. This is exactly what was causing the issue. I had search all over and couldn't find anything. Thank you SO much for answering! We are happy campers here.
